Bice Curiger is a Swiss art historian, curator, editor and author.  Curiger has been a central protagonist of the international art world since the 1970s.

Curiger has been Artistic Director of the Fondation Vincent van Gogh in Arles since 2013. From 1993 to 2013, she worked as a curator at Kunsthaus Zürich, where sheorganized major exhibitions such as Birth of the Cool (1997), Hypermental (2000), and Riotous Baroque (2012).

In 2011, she served as Director of the 54th Venice Biennale, shaping the international exhibition with a strong curatorial vision. From 2004 to 2014, she was Editorial Director of Tate Etc. magazine. She was also  co-founder and editor-in-chief of Parkett, the influential art magazine published in Zurich and New York from 1984 to 2017. Throughout her career, Curiger has written numerous books and essays on art and is widely recognized for her contribution to the contemporary  art discourse.


Francesco Gesualdi is widely regarded to be one of the most original and versatile Italian accordionists of his generation. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the sonic capabilities of the accordion and codifying its advanced techniques.

A specialist in both early and contemporary repertoire, he performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician at major festivals, institutions, and concert series across Europe, Australia, and the U.S.. He has also performed in various live radio broadcasts for Radio Rai 3, Radio SBS, Radio Vaticana  and Radio Orff.

Alongside his performing career, Gesualdi works as an artistic and musical director. He has held positions at the Gaetano Giani-Luporini Study Centre, the GAMO Ensemble and the Rows Ensemble in Florence. He teaches the accordion at the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella in Naples and the Fiesole School of Music. He has recorded for labels including Brilliant Classics, Ema Vinci, Ars Publica and Stradivarius.
